The translation process is often foreign territory. As your translation service partner, we are here to be your guide. Once your translations are complete and returned to you there are a few important next steps to consider.
Internal Language Review
Your Certified Verbatim Translation has gone through several linguistic and quality reviews during the translation process to ensure you are receiving the highest-quality translation. However, it is always wise to have someone from your team review them as well. Your internal reviewers should be checking for key terminology to make sure it is consistent with your company’s style guide.
Stylistic Preferences
At the beginning of your translation project your account manager will request any style guides, glossaries or previously translated materials that you may have. These materials aid our translators in ensuring accurate tone & style of your translations. Upon review, you may have a few minor stylistic changes to make. Small changes can be made quickly and easily upon request. If there are significant style changes or you have had any DTP done to your translated documents, there may be some additional charges incurred to make the necessary changes. Again, sharing your style guides upfront can limit these situations.
Archival
As illustrated, archival of your translated materials can come in handy should the need for future translations arise. On large projects there are often many versions of documents being passed amongst your team and ours. Ensure that you are archiving the finalized versions to minimize confusion later on.
Our commitment is to provide you with the highest-quality translations. Should any other questions about your completed translations arise, don’t hesitate to ask.
Happy translating!
